Skyscaper Pass is in the Berkeley Park region of Mount Rainier National Park. This region is in the northeast section of the park. The pass is on the Wonderland Trail which circles Mount Rainier for about 93 miles.

The photos here were taken on a cool September weekday in 2004. This short hike is about a 7-8 mile round trip from the Sunrise Lodge.

Mount Rainier was hiding behind clouds most of the day; however, it peaks through the clouds in a few of these photographs...

A more recent trip (July 2006) to the summit of Skyscraper Mountain occurred on a much clearer day with expansive views to the north. A link to this page is listed above.
