This hike was one of my first backpacking trips in Washington State. It was a pretty long hike, climbing a steep ridge about halfway in.

It's been so long ago, but I believe we stayed at Opal Lake and most of the lake photos on this page are from our campsite.

I haven't been back to this area since then, but it would be a nice place to revisit.
