Mount Baker is a 10,778-foot volcano near the Canadian border in Washington State. This area is about a two and a half hour drive north of Seattle. The photos on this page are from several day hikes to the region accessed from the Artists’ Point region at the end of Highway 542, most recently on October 13, 2006. The other photos were taken in the early and mid-1990's.
